CHIEF OF STAFF
Tina S. Collette-Fritz
Tina, a Midwest native and the second of six children, was raised in the Episcopal Church, where her love for Christ blossomed at an early age. As a young girl, she sang in the choir, cared for little ones in the nursery, and traveled with the youth Folk Mass group, ministering through music across Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. A turning point came in 1989 when she was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. This trial deepened her faith, leading her to reflect on God’s word and seek His purpose for her life. This is when she connected with her Heart of the Canyons church family, where she worshiped for a decade. Today, she attends Crosspoint Church in Hutchinson, Kansas, where she faithfully serves in a support role. Although Tina once dreamed of becoming a church secretary, that calling found fulfillment later in life with DJJ, during retirement, proving that God’s plans are always on time. Tina’s greatest joy is her family: her daughter, Nicole; her son-in-law, Tyler; and her beloved granddaughter, Ella Hope, born in 2021. Living just a mile apart, Tina cherishes their time together—gardening, crafting, baking, flying kites, and sharing simple lessons of love and faith with little Ella. Tina’s lifelong heart for Christ continues to shape her journey, and her life is a quiet testimony of faith, joyful service, and God's enduring grace across the seasons of life.
